What year are you and where are you from?
I'm an MS4 at PittMed, originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan
What motivates you to become a doctor?
My drive into medicine is based on building relationships with my patients, fostering therapeutic physician-patient relationship which values each patient's whole identity. I fell in love with those unique relationships within OB/GYN, paired with my love of the OR and commitment to advocacy.
What do you like most about Pitt Med?
My class community! I'm also incredibly grateful for the clinical experiences, community engagement, and research opportunities that PittMed has allowed me to explore and thrive in.
Do you have any areas of interest? What are your career aspirations?
Within OB/GYN, I have a specific interest in prenatal parenting supports and bridging obstetrics and pediatric care to support family and children perinatally through early childhood. During residency, I'm looking forward to further exploring various subspecialty interests.
What is something you enjoyed about the reunion tour?
I loved sharing my 3 years of experience as a med student here as well as getting to tag team the tour with med students from different years to give a broad breath of the student experience.
Fun Facts:
I've visited over 30 U.S. National Parks! My favorites have been Arcadia and Grand Teton (through Sleeping Bear Dune National Lakeshore in Michigan is my overall favorite NPS area)
