In Memoriam: Dr. Vincent C. Albo, MED '55
Dr. Vincent Albo was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh Medical School 1955 and specialized in pediatric hematology and oncology. In May 2015 he attended his 60th class reunion in which the Class of ‘55 was recognized for their enduring legacy at the School of Medicine in founding the cherished graduating class tradition of Scope and Scalpel. Dr. Albo was an enthusiastic and generous alumnus of the University of Pittsburgh where he championed the Class of 1955 School of Medicine Scholarship Fund which provides scholarships to medical students from Western Pennsylvania. He was the doctor, colleague, and friend of many Pitt alumni, faculty, staff and he will be profoundly missed.
